Train From Maastricht To Brussels Throuh Liège

18 March 2011 2 Comments

Taking the train from Maastricht, through Liège to Brussels  the popular Superbowl commercial where a deep voice says Detroit “has been to hell and back”. Liège once was an industrial flourishing area with lots of immigrants from Limburg coming in to work. The Albert Canal was dug to transparant goods to Antwerp, Belgian port to the north sea.

Yesterday I took several pictures while traveling to Brussels and back. Today the train track pictures, tomorrow the beautiful trainstation in Liège
